Does pellet sizing size the head or the skirt?? and is it worthwhile?

The skirt

Depends on the quality control of the pellet manufacturer. If the sizes are all over, then some consistancy from the pellet sizer can't hurt. It's probably not the problem it used to be. Most pellets are now constructed to tighter tolerances.

I makes a difference with some pistols and some pellets. Sizing 4.50 pellets with the Nygord sizer made a minor improvement in accuracy in my FWB M2. Other shooters I knew saw no difference. I ended up getting my best accuracy with H&N Final Match 4.49mm unsized.
I think you can do more for accuracy by experimenting with the match-grade brands and pellet diameters than by sizing.
