Dear Shooting friends,
I have just encounter a problem with my Morini 162EI, please give any information that may be useful.
I did a bit of lubrication and cleanup with the gun on Sunday, first cleaning the barrel with TS201 and used the green piece of oil
cloth to wipe the metal parts. The next day I fired the piece but the pellet drops all the way to the five o' clock on the target. It
seems I lost air preasure with the gun.
I suspect some oil may get into the air chamber and try to clean it. On unscrewing the 4 screws on the front of the cover that the
air cylinder plugs on the frame, I found a metal pin and the back part showed 2 holes besides 4 for the screws, it seemed a
special tool is needed to uninstall the piece from the frame. My experiment failed as I cannot go further.
On fixing everything back a new problem appears, I discovered that the hook that prevents cocking in cases of low cylinder
preasure cannot work. I have to push the hook upfront and pull the lever in order to have air into the cylinder.
Can anyone advise me on 1/. How to dissemble the gun to clean the chamber. 2/. How to activate the hook again? 3/. Do I
have to send back the gun for a factory repair?

Hey here is Repich Francesco cheef engineer at Morini Competition S.A. in Switzerland. You had some problems because of
the oil you used to clean the pistol. First some oil went in the firing pin hole and cause a loss in speed. Second some oil entered
the reduction valve and can be possible that the valve is not working anymore as before. I am going to send to Scott the
necessary parts to replace in your gun. If you are going to contact him he will fix your pistol again.
