What is the proper method to fill my co2 cylinder? Should I bleed off all gas before refilling? Freeze cyl before filling?

You don't need to bleed off the gas in your cylinder before you refill it. your cylinder( from your pistol) needs to be colder than
the cylinder that you are filling from to get a full charge.
You have probably seen people bleeding off the gas before filling, This is because the quickly escaping gas has a cooling effect
on the cylinder.
To cool your cylinder you can either bleed off or freeze it(not to long) if you still have troubles filling you can try storing your
filling cylinder in a warmer place.

Follow these simple guidelines and you'll never have problems with your CO2:
1. The cylinder must be around 20 degrees C colder than the reservoir you're filling from. You don't need to start with an empty
cylinder. Placing in the freezer for 10-15 minutes is fine in warmer weather, in winter you may need to freeze overnight or
attempt in a couple of stages.
2. Weigh the cylinder after you have filled it. Try to keep it a couple of grams under the recommended full weight. Bleed gas out
if it is too heavy, otherwise you may have problems getting gas through your regulator.
99% of problems on the line are caused by not following these simple steps.
