Does anyone try the new Winchester Supreme Match ammo? Champion Shooters Supply has it for $55 a brick. I only shoot
smallbore 50yd/100yd NRA match. TIA

Dear swm.
I have as yet not tried it. The team captain of the 3-P leage team I shoot on here in central PA won a case of it at Perry this
year. He was not satisfied with the
results in his gun. It is an 1813 as I recall. He is a very , very good shooter and knows his trade. I have no other info on this
ammo. I would suggest you try what all the
prone shooters around here do. They run either the Federal Match, Ultramatch in its 2 flavors or some Lapua. Both are unral
shooters. You can get both at a good price from Champions
Shooters supply in Ohio. Best of luck.

I have tried a number of ammo's for benchrest use at an indoor facilty. I also shoot 3P and prone. At 50 yards I found
Winchester Suprememe to be the worst ammo I have ever tested. Lapua Multimatch, Master, Eley Match Extra Plus and
Federal Match (900B) are all similar priced and much much better. I found it not capible from the bench of shooting well
enough to score 10's on the fifty meter smallbore target in three different guns.
