What are the advantages - disadvantages to these? Seems compressed air would be easier to get and cheaper. See guns for both. I've shot with guys that use Compressed air and they get a scuba tank filled with compressed air to 3000 PSI for a few dollars and it last forever. They were shooting Anshutz 2002CA's.

I can't think of a any real advantage of CO2 over air.
Disadvantage of CO2 is that it's not free. Possible disadvantage of CO2 is that it doesn't work in low temps. However, this isn't a factor if you shoot in a temperature-controlled environment.
Compressed air works in just about any temperature that I could imagine shooting in. Also, if you buy a pump, you will never have to buy anything else again. You won't have to worry about running out of propellant, as long as there's air in the room. If you do run out of propellant, you have much more important things to worry about than shooting.
All that being said, I've not seen any difference in performance between these two in temps that were within the normal CO2 operating range.
