I am in need of a new .22 target pistol. Presently I shoot H/S Victor, but have been very disappointed in the preformance( broken parts, jamming accurancy, ransom rests at 1-2 inches) I do not want to go to the front clip guns, due to the way the laws are going( California) so my options appear to Hamm. 208s or this new Walter- Had SW and had simalr problems. SO I was wwonder does any one have any opinions on this new Walter? The Walther is being considered because I would rather spend my money on a new air pistol to replace my C65 and I only have some much to spend at one time.

It would be a good choice. I just bought one last year. Hope you like blue grips. I think they look cool. Had probably one misfire so far out of about 3 to 4 thousand rounds. I don't believe that it was the guns fault though. The biggest thing was the top set screw for the barrel shroud. This will need loctite 242 the blue stuff if you will be adding a scope to it. My gun came with magazines that fed well, but my friends gun had problems with feeding. This was strictly the magazines fault. Getting new ones is a problem, but hopefully they will arrive for him soon. As with any gun there can be little quirks to work out, but once this is done it is a very accurate and a comfortable gun to shoot with hardely any recoil with its real low boreline.
I could go on a lot more on this subject but thats it for now I guess. Hope this helps. later.

Is this gun not a Baikal IZH-35 which has been tuned up by Walther? I just bought the -35 and paid $425 for it.
Ask Don Nygord about the situation. I understand he is tuning these things and they represent real target value.
