Yup. The 215 was a "cheaper" version of the 208, which means it was not polished to the same standard and some parts were not as finely machined, although no important ones. It was about 400 SFr. less expensive than the 208.
The 208S is the later version of the 208, with the new trigger (square trigger guard). There was a 215S for a short time, too, which was essentially the same trick as before: Same gun, same performance, less aesthetic.

Going back to when the 215 was launched, didn't the 208 trigger have a switch type device to change from 1000g to 1360g.
Only working on memory as I have never owned either gun but I seem to remember being told that the 215 didn't have the switch.

Whoa, I certainly never heard about anything like that.
I'm almost sure it was never a factory standard.
Would be interesting though to know if anyone
built such a thing.
