The rule governing air pistol box dimensions is below.
4.7.5 The overall size of the pistol is limited to those dimensions which will permit
it to be enclosed completely in a rectangular box having the inside dimensions of
420 mm x 200 mm x 50 mm. A manufacturing tolerance of + 1.0 mm - 0.0 mm in
the dimensions of the box will be permitted. In the case of a semiautomatic air
pistol, the magazine need not be fitted for the box test.
