What's the story on
the Pardini K2? It's won medals, it's cheap, but most seem to like the Steyrs or
Morinis. What's the deal?
Posted by Scott H. on October 07, 2001 at 10:09:37: The shooter squeezing the
trigger is a much greater factor than the trigger being squeezed. The K2 is a
great gun, and is capable of holding its own against newer designs, but folks
buy Morini for the electric trigger and the fine balance. New Steyr, FWB, and
Walther APs have recoil-reducers, which the Pardini does not. We all like to
have the latest and greatest, I guess.
I own a Morini, and a SAM K11, but I
recently bought a K2s, as well. It's a great shooter. In fact, as the new AP
league season approaches here in Pennsylvania, I'll be flipping a coin to see
which gun I use.

"It’s cheap, but..." I've
seen ads for the k2 light for $650. But you can’t get the co2 version for that.
Be sure to buy the air pump. The standard version (air or co2) is about $850
everywhere not including shipping and import taxes, pump, co2 tank, etc.., (does
someone know something I don't about a great buy somewhere?)
I don't think
shooting air pistol is cheap. Maybe less expensive than some other shooting
sports but not cheap. The closest to cheap is the IZH 46 which might be
considered a good value rather than cheap.
I just think that the top names
are way over priced.
