Any New Feedbacks About the KSP 200

Posted by Andi on November 08, 2001 at 05:10:00:
I haven't decided yet which Sport Pistol I'm going to buy, and I'd really appreciate all your feedbacks.
The KSP 200 is really cheap, I found its grip is as good as the Morini ones, and the balance seems perfect to me.
Apparently the accuracy is not as good as the GSP's one.
On the Visier test it got 94 points, only 2 points less than AW93 ,which costs twice the price of the KSP. Ok, I know that on the Visier test the LP300 got the highest points too, which don't make this AP more reliable, or better than the LP10, P34, 162EI, K2 and etc.
On my shooting club I heard that some people, who bought the KSP, are having problems with them. Is that still the case? Is there anybody else who have had reliability problems with the KSP? Are the latest guns more reliable?
Thank you all the inputs you may have.

Our club owns a KSP200. When it was new, it jammed all the time and we handed it back to the Norwegian supplier. But now that we have it back, it seems to work ok. I have not had the possibility to test it yet. The winter has arrived here in Norway, and our indoor training is to busy and crowded, so I cannot give any detailed test-info until next spring.
I have looked at the grip, however. It looks good, but it’s not even close to a Morini grip. I am going to modify the one on our club-pistol to make it more "general" and fit better to more people.

You might want to consider the IZH 35M. The KSP 200 is the 35M but Walther cleans and polishes it up nicely and puts the Walther name on it. There have been a lot of discussions of the 35M here so you can check the archives or just go looking down the list.

Yes the KSP 200 has lots of problems. The main problem which I could not have rectified is the shell would not eject, so shooting timed and rapid fire was ver difficult and some times result in D.Q
