BRITARMS MODEL 2000

Sight Adjustments

Clockwise down.
Clockwise left.
1 click = 5mm @ 25m.

Stripping

Turn the barrel retaining cam lever 180 degrees clockwise into a forward pointing position.
Remove the barrel by pulling it outward. DO NOT allow the barrel retaining lever to move more than 180 degrees.
Loosen the upper grip screws, then lift the slide cover upwards and outwards.
Remove slide by lifting it upwards.
To adjust the trigger the whole trigger unit must be removed from the frame. To do this, take the grips off completely and slide the trigger shoe off the trigger bar. Then undo the socket head cap screws which are in the top of the assembly unit (front and rear).
The complete assembly can now be carefully pushed upwards and out of the frame.

Trigger Adjustments

IMPORTANT Do not make adjustments until the appropriate locking screw has been loosened.
All adjustments should be made gradually – a quarter of a turn at a time.

Takeup

If there is too much trigger movement before the trigger pressure is encountered, turn the “front trigger stop” screw clockwise. Should trigger fail to reconnect, back off the screw (anti-clockwise).

Trigger Weight

Turn clockwise to increase weight.

Sear Engagement

To decrease second stage travel screw clockwise. Should the pistol go full auto, increase the sear engagement by backing off the screw (anti clockwise).
