Stripping

1. Unload pistol, remove magazine and check chamber.
2. Pull slide back and lock open.
3. Remove the cover (plastic part below the barrel). Grasp the two recesses between the thumb and index finger and compress so that the cover can be removed forwards.
4. Swivel the trigger guard downwards. The slide can now be pulled backwards and past the guards, lifted up and removed forwards over the barrel (see illustration). Caution – hold your hand on the left side of the pistol in such a way that the recoil spring cannot jump out.
Note: It is not normally necessary to remove the grip plate. If you need to do so, make sure the trigger bar spring is not lost on the right side of the pistol.

Assembly

1. If the locking spring is no longer present in the grip, it can be pre-tensioned on the guide pin and inserted into the transverse hole by means of a small piece of wire (eg a paper clip). In this way, the locking spring can be very easily inserted in the grip.
2. Tension the hammer, introduce the bolt over the barrel from the front and pull the trigger guard downwards. Then pull the slide back as far as it will go and press down so that it meshes in the guides. Allow the slide to go fully forwards and make sure that the trigger guard is in the normal position again.
3. Pull the slide back a few times and allow it to jump forwards again. The slide must move freely and lie flush with the barrel seat.
4. Grasp the cover by the recess, compress and push onto the grip from the front.

Stripping the Magazine

1. Remove magazine from pistol and make sure no cartridges are in it.
2. Use a pointed object (screwdriver, split pin, etc) to press the base plate from below and push the base plate about 5mm out towards the back.
3. Place the magazine on the magazine floorplate and pull out this plate. Pull the magazine spring, feeder and bolt downwards until the bolt lies flush in the slot. In the bottom position, the bolt can be removed from the left to right. The feeder and magazine spring can now also be removed.

To assemble, reverse this sequence of operations. Make sure that the magazine spring is correctly inserted, that the bottom plate has notched correctly home and that the feeder is able to run on freely with the bolt.
Perfect operation of the magazine is very important to the working of the entire pistol, the cartridge feed and slide catch control.
