Engraving Demonstration Videos

This engraving was done by Scott Pilkington for the 50th Anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack back in 1991. Hard to believe that we have passed the 75 yer anniversary now. This work is done in the Italian bulino or more correctly puntini style of engraving composed of thousands of tiny dots. The explosions are are mix of rose gold and 24 karat gold. The size of the scene on the knife is the size of a postage stamp. This knife was a collaboration with knifemaker Scott Sawby

It’s not everyday that get to you adorn Winston Churchill with rabbit ears while drinking with Alain Louvenberg. I think Sam Alfano took this photo. Taken during the first Grand Masters in Kansas some years back.
