Back pain: stem cells contribute to the growth of the disk

Scientists argue that a simple injection in the back is needed to help grow a disk damaged by degeneration is the main cause of lower back pain.
In previous studies on animals, only one injection led to a sharp cessation of degeneration and, therefore, to the formation of a new disk in just a few weeks. The time has come for clinical trials in public, and scientists hope that this could be the first cure for back pain related to the disk.
Disk degeneration is often found in older people, but can occur in young people. Although genetics here plays a role here, specialists are not entirely clear why the disease occurs. In addition to heredity, a considerable role is played by physical activity on a disk, which most often occurs in the flexion and lifting position or with sharp rotational movements. When a degeneratively altered disk is damaged in this way, acute pain develops, which without treatment goes into a chronic painful state. The pain most often extends to the lower back, hips, groin, and can also switch to legs and arms.
In addition to the wear, discs are also subject to rapprochement with each other due to the loss of fluid, which reduces their ability to immortize the loads.
Patients have a choice of many treatment methods, including analgesics, muscle relaxants, steroid injections, physiotherapy and surgery. Most methods control the symptoms or stabilize problematic discs.
Australian researchers have developed a new method of treatment using adult stem cells with an extraordinary ability to develop in mature cells that can form the organs and tissues of an adult body.
The next step will be the launch of the global clinical test of the restoration of the degenerative disk, which, according to experts, will begin very soon. As soon as the damaged disk is accurately identified, the doctors are introduced by adult stem cells grown in the laboratories in the damaged disk, and the procedure will be performed under local anesthesia. After the creation, stem cells will stimulate “local cells” for several months to regenerate damaged tissue.
Welcoming the initiative, the representative of the British study by arthritis Jane Tadman warns patients that they should underestimate their expectations. “They can pass for years before this procedure becomes available as an alternative to spinal surgery.” Resmi web sitesinde bahisçinin mobil uygulamasını indirin.Kaydolun ve ilk para yatırma 2500 TL + 50 FS bonusu alın! mostbet-az90 CANLI CASINO ve en iyi slotsiteleri
